LOVED my makeup lesson with Sunny. I know NOTHING about makeup and she helped me in so many ways. First, she helped me understand how my facial structure will affect how I apply my makeup. Then she went step by step on how to apply a gorgeous everyday natural look. From foundation, to some contouring, to lashes. She's a pro and I can tell she's had a lot of training based on her knowledge of makeup application and products. I most appreciated how this felt so personal. I've had my makeup done at Ulta and inside department stores, but I've never had a personalized experience like with Sunny and she gave me great solutions to issues like my dark eye circles. I love makeup and probably intermediate level when it comes to applying my own makeup. I was first skeptical on how I much I would learn, but I took a makeup class from Sunny and I can't be more satisfied. I am a healthcare provider and model, and I wanted to learn more about makeup to emphasize different aspects of my personality. Compassionate and caring as healthcare provider, and artistic and vibrant as model. I am very happy and impressed with Sunny's approach. She is able to understand and teach in a way that is in alignment with how the client best learns, which makes the lesson highly effective and time efficient for the client. I appreciate her asking me questions in advance to find out what my goals were. As the previous reviewer stated, Sunny has a very solid background and she is well versed in theory to practice. Because of this, when I had a makeup concern, she was able to correctly identify the core of the problem and provide the simplest solution to solve this problem ex uneven lips in my case. She was able to guide me in what popular techniques (that I learned from youtube and such) I need to modify to fit my needs and which ones just didn't work for my facial structure. I am now more confident in my ability to apply makeup and I'm excited to learn more from Sunny in the future.

Sunny has done my makeup on several occasions. The most important time was for my wedding. She took the time to find out what look I desired for my special day and made sure we had a practice run before the wedding. I received more compliments about my makeup than I ever have in my life. The first time I met Sunny was at a friend’s wedding where she was the make-up artist for the wedding party. She was very easy to talk to and consulted everyone about their make-up. She recommended a few make up styles that would go well with facial structure and gave me some advice on make-up tips and how to apply certain products. From the beginning, I knew that she was an outstanding artist who knew how to communicate with clients and made them happy and beautiful. Having such a great experience with Sunny, I referred her to some friends for their weddings and they were all pleasantly surprised by her make-up skills and extraordinary service.
For my wedding, I didn’t even think twice about looking for another make-up artist. She consulted me on my make-up and performed some trials before the wedding. She gave me some advice on how to take good care of my skin leading up to the wedding date and recommended some products that would work well with my sensitive skin. On top of my make up consultation, Sunny even helped me look for a florist and photographer given her broad network.
On my wedding day, she came earlier than my appointment and helped me feel relaxed. I was concerned about the dark circles under my eyes but she performed some magic on my face that made me look refreshed and gorgeous. She not only cared about how I looked in the mirror but she also applied make-up that would look great in pictures. I had a large wedding party to work with but Sunny made everyone look stunning and happy.
Through my experience with Sunny all I can say is that she is a reliable, humble, positive, and talented professional who has a warm heart that makes people want to work with her. I highly recommend Sunny without reservation

I really don't know where to start... but THANK YOU!
My friends could not stop complimenting me on how I looked and till this day, they still talk about how beautiful my makeup was. Out of the four bridesmaids two of us had hired Sunny separately on our own. And not to sound mean, but our makeups were flawless compared to the other bridesmaids.... Sunny is truly an Artist and it is very obvious that she loves her work; working with people and making them look amazing. She first examines your face and from there she creates a vision. The makeup stayed fresh all day and night, indoor and outdoor. I cannot wait until the next event where I would have Sunny do my make up again. When I first consulted with Sunny without knowing too much about make-up, she gave very good suggestions from her rich experience. I was especially nervous as it was for my wedding make-up, but during the trial, she communicated very clearly what she is doing and if I would like it in certain way. She made me feel very comfortable and gave room to express my ideas as she consulted with her expertise.
She was very flexible yet added special touch-up with her own idea. I was very satisfied with my make-up and felt very confident to stand in front of everyone. With the limited time she had, she thoroughly worked on each person with best effort. I was very impressed that she was able to do everyone's make-up in such a short time... She doesn't just do her job but she offers conversations, stories, and suggestions that will make the whole make-up time so much better. Sunny is so good at what she is doing and as someone who has known her since she was young, she always had the passion for make-up. Sunny was the makeup artist hired for my wedding. I loved her use of colors and blending techniques to make my eyes look more defined, and yet subtle enough for a wedding. She pin-pointed the exact look I wanted as a bride without caking on foundation or making my eyes feel heavy with eye shadow as would other makeup artists. Wedding makeup is truly important to every bride or bridesmaid, and Sunny did a fantastic job creating a look for all of us using a natural color palette that suited our respective tastes. She was a wonderful artist whom we could not have done without on undoubtedly the most important day in my life!

Sunny did an absolutely amazing job on my makeup for my wedding. At the trial prior to the wedding, Sunny immediately put me at ease! It was so easy to talk to her about what I wanted (or didn't want!) and she listened and was able to offer me expert advice and provide me with a stunning but natural look that I wanted. She was quick, knew exactly what colors went well with my face and she also taught me how to touch it up in case something went wrong for the reception. To this day, my friends remind me of how beautiful I looked on my wedding day. I've referred all my friends to Sunny and will continue doing that as they get engaged in the future.
